STCC 2011 Hopefuls?

Just wondering if anyone else is trying to get into STCC this fall for Nursing? I'm finishing up prereqs now, and just took the HESI. I scored an 85, but want to take it again to see if I can get my score up even higher. I have a 4.0, so I'm hoping that as long as my midterm grades are A's/B+'s I'll be OK.

Well, hello Afia. Mine's Gwen. I've not gone to STCC yet at all. I'm in CT and I've been doing just a couple of my BSN courses at Goodwin, in Hartford, just to increase my options/chances for the fall. I'm just finishing up US History (working on a 20 page research paper tonight, due for tomorrow night, UGH!), and statistics in the net 2 weeks. Then I'm half way through my BSN courses. I plan on getting my Master's and perhaps my APRN eventually. Like I said, I'm 45 and it's been a long time coming.

Hey girls,

Just curious when you guys applied. I put my app in back in October, and I'm wondering if I'm the LAST one in the stack. I found out from one of the guys in my A&P class, that his webadvisor changed to waitlisted, so the fact that mine hasn't changed at all lets me know that I am really still waiting, and I am still really in the running (I was doubting myself for a bit, LOL!).

This wait is really starting to draaaaaaaaaaag.

I think I put mine in like 5 days before the due date haha. But yah as far as I know if your webadvisor hasn't changed yet then I think your still in the running!

i just dont understand y they wuld change sum and leave others for later. thats seriously messed up like bahamiltons blood pressure must be thru the roof. they need to come up with a better techniquee

Registration for the fall is in 3 days (on the 14th). Does that include us?!? Does anyone know how that works?

No that does not include us, we won't be able to register for our nursing classes until after orientation. Which is taking place on May19th. :nurse:
