Hi guys,

Ive managed to lose a total of 50 lbs on my own after my baby was born 6 months ago. Im very proud of that. Im choosing to live a healthy lifestyle. Yet, since I started my new job....they constantly have pizza parties, cookies, .....plus...plenty of job stress to top it off. How do you guys deal with this?

I have told them Im wanting to keep the weight off...yet, they constantly offer me cookies, ect? What is a girl to do? I know I have to be firm...yet, I find myself giving in to the temptation and Im already gaining weight. I dont want my job to sabotage my weight loss , any suggestions?

When people gave us fruits and other healthy snacks I would RAVE about it -agencies,managers, families, etc. In hopes that they would bring more of that and NOT chocolate!

Put yourself on an eating schedule. I eat every 3 to 4 hours in the day and that's helped me lose 36 lbs! Additionally, every time you are offered food you can just say that its not your eating time yet.

We're always so busy on days . . . our lunches are late and rushed!! So, no time to eat all that junk!! However, night shift . . . that's a different story.

the CNA's I work with are all diabetic. I refused to join the diabetic club.

You can eat 500 calories of salad, or 500 calories of pizza. They are both still 500 calories. You've lost a sizeable amount of weight, so you know you can control your intake well. Certainly you can eat the gunky food with caution, unless abstinence from the high-calorie food works best for you.
