I was just wondering if anyone has experienced an online statistics course? Not sure what to expect...
I experienced it last summer. I'm not a super math-y person, so I don't know what I was thinking. There were no lecture materials of any type - basically we were expected to tech ourselves out of our textbook. I don't know about you, but I can't read math very well.
So I get to experience it again this summer in person!
I took my stats class on campus. Once I received assistance on how to use the formulas I was able to pull my grades up. Lets just say I started off with a 52 & by the last test I made a 91. That is a big jump. Also this was an 8 week accelerated course while taking four other classes. I'm thankful to be done with math for my bachelor degree but i am thinking about taking math for allied health though

That's awesome!!! Way to go!! That's what my husband said; learn the formulas and you'll be fine!
I have a silly question. I haven't done math in college at all. I'm supposed to do that over the summer. But, I'm considering transferring anyway. The school I'm looking into wants Stats as their math. Would I be able to take this class even if I don't have any previous math classes? I can't see a math pre-req stated for the Stats so that's why I wonder. Thanks guys! (In the event that I can get away with it, I would def do it in class, not online!)

Btw, thanks for the encouragement!! Where are the formulas to plug into the TI? I still have mine from College Algebra.
