Statistics Stress (GCU) - Please Help! :)

Published

Hi All! I currently attend Grand Canyon University online RN to BSN program. I have heard (read) many nightmarish stories about statistics and take either this or that professor and could really use some help with the name of which instructor would be best to have for this online class.

Specializes in Critical Care and ED.

I know I'm really late at responding again but I just remembered this awesome website I used. I had to pay but I think for the entire semester I paid about $7...totally worth it. It's called Laerd and they walk you through every single statistical test, how to do the calculation, how to interpret, how to write the results, everything. Absolutely invaluable! Had to share. https://statistics.laerd.com

That is so cool!!!

Has anyone had brown as a professor for Statistics? I start Monday and very terrified! I have done great for my first 4 classes but suck at math! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

i took statistics at GCU just before they changed the format and some YouTube videos helped my through the class. I had purchased Statistics for Dummies and Naked Statistics, they were absolutely no help at all!! Waste of money. Good luck, and yes you will use the information you learn in this class later in the program.

Stats is the 1 class I have heard multiple people failing.....A wise investment may be paying for a tutor..you can find them in person visits or online..many online companies offer them.....yes not a cheap option, but having to fork out $$$$ for a do-over of the class isn't cheap either...plus it extends your graduation date, thus increasing ur pain, lol
