Has anyone else found the stats class for NP school very challenging? I have it as an online class. I'm spending countless hours on this... Any tips?

I sympathize completely! I did my stats by exam and got shingles while studying. My nephew and his college math buddies were my saving grace. I took the test (CLEP) and thought for sure I had bombed it...just passed! It is a LOT of math. I was able to find quite a bit of information on you-tube believe it or not. They take the various equations and break them down. I would STRONGLY recommend you check it out.

It was the worst class I ever took. Literally was a foreign language. Everyone (not in my program) would say "Oh yea my undergrad stats WAS hard too". NO! I had undergrad statistics and it was fine. This graduate nursing statistics was nothing like any class I'd ever taken. It is not math. Not the one I took. They actually just stopped making people in my old program take it (prob because of the drop out/fail rate). There are a few basic things I took from that class, like when to know results were significant in a study, etc. The rest of the class was useless to me. Just bear through it.
