i knew of the recent vt denials and just as of yesterday my friend's letter of rejection from az, same as ca bon's reason.
let's all thank our ched, prc and pna for doing a "great" job of not meeting the states minimum educational requirements.
i'm sure that this will also affect other countries not just those from phil.

"ony those states that have explicit education requirements of concurrent theory and practicum will philippine nurses have licensure issues.
excellsior college new york nursing graduates have had same issue recently. see state board licensure requirements here
these are states having concerns over concurrent therory and practicum, so i would look at other 37 states to obtain license:
alabama
arizona
california
georgia
illinois
kansas
louisiana
maryland
north dakota
oklahoma
vermont
virginia
washington "
Hi he got eligibility so quick right after the class... He said it was pretty good... Well I should've taken the risk...;/
Yea, nice! What was the cost again? You maybe should mention this in the other postings of the meeting the CA concurrency threads and or what school they used to get their eligibility, but the bottom line is that it can be done and I think truly they are the FIRST ones to finally meet the problem and got the ATT!! Good luck on the NCLEX-RN exam!!
Hello, everyone. I'm an RN from Israel. Applied for KY, cause was supposed to study there for MA, passed NCLEX-RN, and have their lycense. KY university program was closed, so I moved to CA and applied for license by endorsement three weeks ago. Today I checked and my name was on BON!!!!
Has anyone experienced the concurrency issue when endorsing a license from another state to California?
Last August 23, I sent my application by endorsement to CA BON... 19 days after, I received a letter from my analyst asking me the following.. a.) Copy of Clinical Cases and b.) Related Learning Experience Clinical Logbook.. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of this anymore, my school doesn't have a copy of my cases anymore.. I don't know what to do
Hi irahIf you don't have any of these, I suggest you apply to another state because CA will never give you an ATT. They need those to make sure your cases are concurrent.
I am licensed in Florida, but I am here in California.. I understand, that's what I have been trying to work out in my school right now. I just have some copy of my clinical cases. But not all of it.
