I recently got kicked out of my nursing program in CA, and I will be working CNA while I apply to both LVN/ADN in CA. I've never experienced the "long wait times" to get into a nursing program in CA since my previous program is a private school. I just applied and got in right away. I've heard that many people wait for about 3 years to get into a program in CA, that's a lot of time that I don't want to lose. Would be it be "easier" to get into an out-of-state nursing program? By "easier", I meant no wait time. For those of you who are in a nursing program out of California, how much does your program cost? The previous private school that I went to is about 100k. I also understand that in order to work in California, I will need to take a state exam to work in California. Could someone give me your thoughts?
Thank you so much for your time!
