I need hope because I'm starting to loose it with all the stress I'm going through and all the things I'm dealing with.
This is now the third time I am submitting into my college's nursing program. The first (Fall 2014 Semester) time I got an email back saying I was not accepted into the program then the second time (Spring 2015 Semester) I received an email saying I was on the wait-list well come to find out, all students confirmed enrollment so no spots were open and they weren't planning on adding any spots either. I'm so stressed out, the passion I have for nursing is out of this world, I've wanted to be a nurse ever since middle school and I've done everything I can to get close to experiencing everything I can about nursing, I even went to a nursing summer camp and I even got the opportunity to take a course that was in the Nursing program because they had free spots which was Healthcare Stats. I don't know what else to do but submit again because the two classes I could retake are full plus they won't be on my transcripts to submit for the nursing program for Fall 2015. Below are my grades and also HESI scores and class grades. Do I even have a shot? What do you think I should do or improve to greater my chances? I will do anything and everything to be a nurse.

So sorry for the stress. I am sending you a big cyber HUG. If your passion is nursing you will get in somewhere (just avoid the private schools unless they have a stellar and long track record.
I am not sure where portage In is but could you apply to more than one program? I applied to 11 because it So Cal where i live they are impacted some schools get thousands of apps for 30 spaces.

I definitly agree with checking into other programs that are in your area. From the classes that you have taken, depending on the program's or programs' retake policies I would really consider retaking A&P 1 and 2 along with Micro. This though does depend on what the program looks for to make you competitive for getting into the program. Also before deciding to retake any classes definitly talk with an advisor at your school and any other schools that you may consider about what you can do to make yourself more competitive. Good luck

Why don't you apply to more than one program? Increase your odds. But if you were wait listed before, it sounds like you have a good chance of getting in this time.

Do you have to attend THAT school? The more flexible you are the more options you will have. It is like a new grad saying they will only work in hospital X in the ER. And when they don't get hired then they say they can't find a job. If you really want to be a nurse then look at options. The more places you apply the more likely to get in. Good luck!
