Howdy! I am in my mid-40's, work full time, and desperately want to go to nursing school. Currently I am knocking out my pre-reqs at community colleges. The programs I have seen require a full time committment. Are there any part-time programs? Can I still work full time? Will this impact my ability to find a job after I finish? I want to be the best nurse possible, but I need to keep paying my mortgage.
Thank you in advance for your advice, input, and shared wisdom.

There are several colleges in various states that offer the evening/weekend programs. Have you checked all the community colleges in your area? However, they are still full time programs but offer the lecture classes in the evenings during the week and most clinicals during the weekend.
Good Luck
