STARTING FL IPN

Nurses Recovery

Published

hello all you fabulous nurses in recovery!

i am just beginning my journey to getting my rn license back to normal. i've reported to the board, been referred to IPN. IPN referred my to a list of physicians for my IPN facilitated evaluation which is sceduled for dec 5th. can anyone tell me what this eval consists of? and maybe what to expect as i start this journey? i know the financial part is going to be a struggle for me. i've been working a min wage job. haven't worked as a nurse since 2008.

Very interesting information catsmeow1972. Thanks for the support and good advice. We got in contact with each other now so I told her to delete her comments too. I'm finding as I research that the corruption is even deeper than I ever could have imagined.

Does anyone know how we go about getting our records from IPN?

I'd like to know as well. Thinking it's probably difficult. Any advice from anyone?

Yep good info @catsmeow1972. You sound very knowledgeable about IPN and all the ins and outs.

Persephone I'm looking for your comment back to me about Health Care Connections' program but I can't find it. Tell me again about them will ya I need that info so I can look into it. I'm not too familiar with this site yet and how to get around. Thank ya. Sidenote, did you happen to go to college at UF?

I think the comments were deleted. Guess an admin thought they weren't appropriate. We really aren't supposed to mention the names of facilities, so maybe that was it. I'm headed out to IPN, will try and remember what I wrote later tonight.

Thanks. Yes me and the other person who recently posted requested ours be deleted. Didn't realize the additional replies would be as well.

You are likely to be told that they don't release records from "3rd party sources" ie: the providers that did the evaluation. For copies of the evaluation reports and lab results, you'd have to go directly to the source and wrench them from thier clutches. For P test records, it will be nothing you can't find on Affinity. Other than that the only records are just your contract and that nearly useless participant manual that they pretty much ignore anyway.
