Starting A&P I in February 2011 via Edukan...

Published

Im a little nervous and not sure what to expect...is anybody else taking this class? or has anyone taken it before and have advice to offer?

thanks!

i found a&p1 really really easy...repetition is key....

just keep reading things over and over

I start A&P I tonight. My lab is Wednesday. I'm so nervous and excited at the same time.

Good luck!!

i just started both A&P I Lecture and Lab 2 weeks ago. I'm having to withdraw from the lecture due to the lab taking up all of my time. It's definitely all about memorization and repetition, as jaypark said. Just take the time to read over the chapters and actually organize your thoughts. I like to take the material and try and put them in my own words. This not only helps me memorize, but also allows me to process the information I've taken in.

Best of luck to you!

Jaypark~advice taken to heart..thank you.. I will read like crazy and repeat! (:

boohill~how exciting! you'll do great! are you taking an online course?

Skylarnola~very good advice as well.. simplify to better understand, which makes it more easy to remember. noted (: I didnt know it was possible to take lecture and Lab separately..interesting.

thank you for the replies!

No Im not taking it online. Im attending Medgar Evers College in New York. I am also taking English 2. I purchased Anatomy and Physiology made incredibly easy, anatomy and physiology made incredibly visual, anatomy flashcards and, anatomy and physiology for dummies. I read on this site that these books have helped. We all need A's in A&P so hopefully these will help me.

yeah, agreed, and good luck, Im sure you'll do well! Sounds like you're really prepared! :) I'll have to look into some of the stuff you mentioned. Im ordering books tomorrow, so hopefully they will get here quickly so I can start reading ahead like everyone is suggesting to do. The flash cards would really help I bet

have you all noticed the timestamps are off on this thread? just noticed that..

anyway, best of luck to you too Skylarnola!
