I STARTED SCHOOL MONDAY AND I uNDERESTIMATED IT :( I WAS SOOOOO LOST IS ThIS COMMON?

keep ya head up girls im 3 months in and we just started passing meds, im knee deep in knowledge and u will soon be also, i study 2-3 hrs a day and have all a's i work per diem , 2 days a month and i keep focused u can do it i promise u but i do recommend dropping that full time work schedule if possible i only have 1 child so i dont know if its doable with u but the people in my class working full time are not doing as good as i am, good luck ladies focu focus focus, i just gave my first meds this week im so excited and proud of myself, im taking fundamentals, pharm, pand v anda and p at the same time , i cant wait til this level is over then we go to one subject, good luck leep trying, u will start to understand all the talk very soon

tuesday, wednesday, we are in clinicals, monday thursday friday we are in lecture, we dont have much p and v( practical and vocational nursing) no test for that class and its only like once a month we just have a paper due, a and p and pharn and fundamentals are all mixed in on the lecture days, its not sepearated like some programs, we have 7 test in 3 weeks starting may second, its all kinda crazy right now, but the a n p is taught when we learn that system in fundamentals, i dont know just cant wait til june when we are done with the first semester, so many test, just tryna do my best

eastern center for arts and technology willow grove, its a great program, but i stay focused i have no social life i look like a bum and i barely have enough money for gas and food, im trying hard as hell tomake it

Yea I HAVE CLASS MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY FUNDAMENTALS ON MONDAY A N P ON WEDNESDAY THAN CLINICALS ALL DAY FRIDAY...YOU HAVE A LOT GOIN ON IM AT A PRIVATE SCHOOL I UNDERESTIMATED TGE FIRST DAY IM CATCHING ON IM GOING THRU TRYIN TO TEACH MYsELF ANd QUIZ MYSELF I HAVE BEEN STUDYING LIK CRAZY

I have class 4 days a week from 5pm to 10pm and one day a week clinical from 3pm to 11pm. I work full time and study around 2-3 hours a day and all day on the weekends :eek::uhoh3:. So far I am getting all A's in my classes (Fundamentals. Nutrition. and A&P) although being very sleep deprieved I am loving my journey and also hope to graduate with honors next year.

At first, it is a lot to take in, but once you pass your first quarter/semester, everything kinda starts to smooth out and you are no longer over whelmed. Hang in there and just focus on your goal...graduation...some days I just have to take it one subject at a time, one day at a time. I am almost at the half way point of this quarter and amazed at how fast the days are slipping by. Soon, it will be all over!:nurse:

Wow DATS AH LOT YUR STRONG! YES IM LOOKIN FOWARD TO MY GRADUATION (SO ARE MY KIDS) EVERYBODY SAYS IT GOES BY FAST THIS IS MY 2ND WEEK IN. I HAVE SKILLS ORENTATION TOMORRO SO I HOPE I HAVE FUN :) LOL MAYBE NOT THIS QUARTER IS OVER IN AUGUST WE HACE 17 CLASS MEETINGS AND HAVE MET TWICE ALREADY

I just graduated from LPN school in NJ. It was hard. Study and stay focused. If being a nurse is really what u want you will do fine. Its a great field to be in.
