Hey guys, I applied to the staRN program in San Jose, CA for both Regional Medical Center and Good Samaritan that is supposed to start end of March 2021 . I'm just wondering how the hiring process is (especially with COVID-19), when we should expect to hear back, how competitive it is etc. Also, has anyone else applied and already heard back?
I already submitted the self-paced interview for RMC last week but have not heard back since.
Thank You!
Hello all, so glad to find this post. I too have an upcoming interview next week with GSH. Any tips or ideas you can share would be most helpful.
Also how many people were in the panel interview? was it mostly behavioral style questions along with the dreadful "tell me about yourself question." any help will do. Besides did anyone felt nervous during and how did you handle that? Just trying to get a feel for how the environment will be.
Thanks in advance.

Is this for the new grad program or is this for an open position?

Is this for their staRN new grad program starting March 2021 or another position. & yes, you are spot on with the tell me about yourself and behavioral/patient scenario questions. The panel interview had 3-4 nurse leaders. The environment was not too nerve wracking, it was more of a casual environment.
