staRN program-Regional Medical Center March 2021

Published

Hey guys, I applied to the staRN program in San Jose, CA for both Regional Medical Center and Good Samaritan that is supposed to start end of March 2021 . I'm just wondering how the hiring process is (especially with COVID-19), when we should expect to hear back, how competitive it is etc. Also, has anyone else applied and already heard back?

I already submitted the self-paced interview for RMC last week but have not heard back since.

Thank You!

Still nothing on my end. Crossing my fingers for tomorrow. Something has got to happen next week!

Same, nothing as well. I think because the program doesnt start till March 29, they are probably taking their time reaching out. Yes hopefully next week!!

I just got an email from Good Sam asking me to come in and interview next week!

Wondering if we will hear from Regional for a separate interview process?

I received an email from a recruiter just now asking me if I have a date scheduled for NCLEX yet. I graduated in dec 2020 but still have not gotten my ATT yet. I believe you must have a license by the time you interview?Anyone in a similar situation?

Im assuming that regional is a separate interview process! im wondering if you interview at one, you don't get an interview at the other vice versa. Or if you can interview at both.

I graduated in Nov 2020 and my school sent transcripts to BRN in beginning of Dec and I got my ATT around Christmas time. I had my license before applying to the program. However, I knew people in my class who had deficiencies like resubmitting 2x2 photo and they didn't get their ATT till several weeks after me (mid Jan).

Does anyone know if you get an interview for one hospital, you can get one at another or do they try not to do that?

Someone from a previous cohort said they applied to both but only interviewed with one. She also said that there were 24 people accepted per hospital.

I applied to both hospitals and I did not get invited to interview at Good Sam, but I just got an email and invite to interview at Regional.

Yeah it must just be one hospital per applicant. I did both on demand interviews and have not received an invitation to interview with Regional.

Okay, that was what I was thinking. I only received an invitation to interview with GSH but not heard back from Regional yet. thanks for the replies!
