Has anybody else applied to the StaRN residency at Mountainview/Southern Hills/Sunrise? I got invited to do the on-demand interview but haven't heard anything since I completed it. Does anybody know the timeline for this?

Congratulations! That’s so exciting! Did they email you the offer? So you didn’t end up contacting the recruiter to follow up and then have them reply?

A recruiter contacted you on their own and let you know you got the job?

sorry for the specificity of the questions?

Sorry I should have clarified! They reached out to me through email before I had a chance to make a call.

Thank you! I was debating on whether or not I should email the recruiter tonight or tomorrow to follow up, but maybe I’ll wait till tomorrow.

If I don’t hear anything by the morning I will follow up.

Do you think I should email the lead recruiter or the director of nursing who was at the interview?

What day last week was your interview?

I definitely think you should call the recruiter! I’ve tried reaching out via email in the past and got no response! What hospital did you interview at? Our recruiters phone number was in the email with the invite to interview.
I interviewed on Wednesday 8/19.

My interview was also at Sunrise.  Do you have the recruiters number?

Yes, I have the recruiter's number. What time was your interview at? My interview was scheduled at 2 pm.

I had mine at 11

Got it. I wasn’t sure if you were the person I was talking to at the interview. Since the interviews were running behind schedule there was another applicant waiting when I arrived.

yah it was the same for me! Where you able to get ahold of the recruiter?

No, I didn’t contact anyone. I’m still kind of wishfully holding out hope that I miraculously get an email or phone call.

I’ve asked so many people’s opinion on who I should contact (recruiter or nurse manager) and I keep on getting different answers.

I’m not sure how I envision this situation playing out. Imagine I email the recruiter or nurse manager following up on my application. Has it ever happened where they said “Oh, I’m so happy you followed up! I was just about to email/ call you to offer you the job!”

I would call the recruiter before the weekend, otherwise you may end up waiting even longer. As another user mentioned, phone is probably your best bet. I had emailed in the past and never received a response, but was always able to reach the recruiter by phone.

You never know! I would reach out for your own peace of mind. I think if you know the unit manager of the unit you want to work on then reach out to them but if you don’t go with the recruiter! I wouldn’t contact the Director of critical care though. She said if I had any question regarding employment to contact the recruiter. Just call and ask for an update. She is super nice and has always answered when I reached out to her by phone.
