Hello everyone, 

I just wanted to submit this here to start a place where all of us who have applied to Stanford's nurse residency program can communicate. This is for cohort 39, which has a start date of August 21, 2023. I hope we all get in!

For those who scheduled a second interview, is it being scheduled for this week or for next week?

Anyone remember the last day that they said callbacks for round 2 would be?

For those that were invited for a second interview, did you keep your answer under 2 minutes or they were a little over? I am practicing my answers and I am having a hard time at keeping them under 2 minutes. I want to know if this would be a problem.

I got an email last night saying that they have reviewed all my qualifications but are not moving forward with my applicaiton because they had too many other applications that more closely fit the needs.  They said someone from Talent acquisition may contact me about another position.

I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder if they will possibly contact you about your 2nd or 3rd choice? Good luck to you—I wish you the best!!

Thank you!  No, I never got an interview.  Someone said that they are only taking people who already have passed boards.  I cannot even sit for my boards until middle/end of July, so maybe that is part of it.

Of course. ? Hmm, I wonder how true that is. Some of the people that were on my panel interview had not taken their NCLEX yet.. I wonder if they made the decision after the panel interviews to only take people who have passed boards.

I also had someone in my panel that had not taken the NCLEX yet. So I'm curious as well.
