Wanted to create this so everyone applying for the August 2022 cohort for Stanford's New Grad RN residency program can stay up to date! :)

I tried to focus on not listening to others' answers because it would get me off track. For my ICU interview, it was not the same questions like the ones on the interview prep meeting but they were kinda similar. Make sure to have a paper so you can write down the main points of the questions. They only say it once but if you didn't hear it just ask them to repeat it.

I had an interview for surgical 1 on Monday. I haven't heard back yet. ?

Anyone feel like they are in limbo still, with no interview invite but also no rejection email? 

Curious what they are/were looking for in applicants. I know someone with offers from THE top hospitals in the US who has heard nothing from Stanford.

Has anybody heard back for a Unit level interview for Surgical 1 yet? Had my panel but am still waiting, thank you in advance!

I interviewed yesterday and was contacted for a second interview and THIS would be my best advice. Have a big glass of water with you, a pen and paper in case you need to write anything, and reheorifice ~5 answers that could work for many different questions (ex: a situation where you maintained dignity that could also work as an example of how you handled a difficult situation). They want to know who we are, so think about a few words you would use to describe yourself as a nurse and try to emphasize how you embody one or two of those characteristics across all answers.

I had mine on Monday as well and was hoping to hear about a second interview but nothing yet…
