I had my phone interview today also. The woman on the phone said that they had 900+ (can't remember the exact #) applications total this year, and that makes it a 1% hire rate.

Does anyone know if ADN's able to apply to the program if they hold a bachelor's degree in another field? Thinking about applying next year, and the website says BSN required.

I also applied to the LPCH RN Residency program and completed the phone interview...what is the next step? How do we check our status? Can you tell me the website?

Hi Lovepeacelove - I think if selected to go on in the process the "status of your application" will say "route":). The website is the Stanford Job site we originally applied to. Good Luck!

I heard from a friend that Stanford is already interviewing this week....Anyone receive word or status change from Packard?

I had my phone interview this morning and I think it went really well. The lady said that they have 961 applicants (they had 700 last year) and that they are hiring less than 10 for each hospital. Not very good odds, but we'll just wait and see!

She said that she records what you say during the interview and loads it to your application for a nurse manager to read and determine if you should go on or not, and that process takes about a week. She said to check your application status after a week and if it says "in review" that means that you are still in the running!

Argh! I applied on the 19th and I still haven't gotten a call for a phone interview. I contacted HR and was told I should get a call within the next 1.5 weeks. It just sucks waiting because every other single person I know who has applied (and applied after I did) has gotten a call for the phone screen.

Just let me say again AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH! Waiting sucks.

Congrats to all of you that have had your phone screen already. I'm green with envy!

Your not alone crazyframes... I have yet to receive a phone interview as well! When did you contact HR?
