  1. I just heard from a friend who is also waiting to hear that he was told they would still be calling people through this week. Don't know if that's helpful to you or not but I hope so!
  2. I always prefer to think that "no news is good news" until I actually get bad news! But of course that's easier to say since I've already gotten my good news. I have a former classmate who is waiting to hear as well (he also interviewed on that same unit). I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you that HR gets back to you soon with a wonderful phone call! I think we were all pretty lucky to have gotten as far as we did. It's such a tough and competitive market out there and so hard to navigate. I'm grateful for this job as I haven't gotten a bite on anything else at all. I applied to Washington Hospital in Fremont (where quite a few of my classmates got interviews) and didn't even make the first cut to get an interview. So it just goes to show you that you never know what people are looking for in a candidate!
  3. meggleweggle - sent you a pm with the info.
  4. Got the call yesterday and was offered a position at Stanford! So thrilled! It was awesome to hear from HR that they were all so impressed by the caliber of people they interviewed that they added an additional three positions (now hiring 15). Go us!
  5. That's awesome you got asked to interview for a third unit! Which one? What other two did you interview on? I met with F ground and D3. I think both interviews went well but it can be so hard to judge. That's awesome that a friend was offered a position already! I too hope they still have people they need to call! Good luck with the third interview!
  6. meggleweggle - have you had both of your unit interviews? How did they go? I have my second one tomorrow. I would hope we will hear something from HR by the end of next week?
  7. I got the call this morning too, as did another classmate. Yeah! Glad I can breath a little easier for a bit.
  8. Just did. I'm an "application has been reviewed" person. Looks like I only applied to one position but it doesn't specify in the job title if it's day/night. I hold out little hope since it hasn't been forwarded. Thanks for the reminder to check the status! Good luck to you!
  9. I did but I haven't heard anything yet. You?
  10. When I did my phone interview she said they wouldn't be calling about the panel interviews for Stanford until the middle of July. LPCH candidates will be called first (end of June/beginning of July) because that program starts first.
  11. Has anyone gotten a call or gone for an interview with Dameron?
  12. And an update: Not sure if it's squeaky wheel syndrome or not, but just got a call this morning from the SHC/LPCH HR department for a phone screen for next week. Woot!
  13. Yeah - I talked to HR today and was told it would be another 1.5 before they get through all the phone screens. I applied on the 19th. Glad I'm not alone in my misery of waiting for the phone to ring!
  14. Argh! I applied on the 19th and I still haven't gotten a call for a phone interview. I contacted HR and was told I should get a call within the next 1.5 weeks. It just sucks waiting because every other single person I know who has applied (and applied after I did) has gotten a call for the phone screen. Just let me say again AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH! Waiting sucks. Congrats to all of you that have had your phone screen already. I'm green with envy!
  15. Add me to the list of USC rejection email receivers! Oh well. Back to waiting for Stanford to call . . .
