Published

Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the Stanford Nurse Residency, Cohort 41. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

Applications open up at 12 am tonight! Good luck to all of us!

If anyone hears back from the Surgical Unit, please let us know. Thanks!

Yes, we've got this!

I got an invite for Surgical Division 1 about an hour ago. It says: "The 60-minute panels will take place on Wednesday 6/19/2024 from 08:00am to 14:00pm Pacific." There were 4 time slots to choose from when I signed up for a spot (so at least 16 interviewees including myself).

To those worrying, I applied to cohort 40 and didn't get an email regarding interviews until the last day listed online (eg June 12th this time around) and it was for psych which was the second to last of my preferences and I had zero psych experience other than clinicals, so don't give up!!

Side note/question: I noticed the email says "Interview spots are filled quickly, so please respond within the next 24 hours or we will move onto other candidates" and proceeds to tell us how to schedule an interview... do we have to respond to the email as well orrrr just schedule and interview through Calendly? I selected my spot but the new grad in me is overthinking the use of "respond" LOL

I responded to the email saying I scheduled through the link. Im an overthinker too so I did it just in case

Does anyone have the list of units? I'm unfamiliar with the actual unit names. Surgical unit is cardiovascular? Which unit is the umbrella for Medsurg ? Sorry, just a bit confused about that.

Oh okay, I guess I was confused by terms people used. Surgical 1 and 2 would fall under impatient surgical unit. I believe I listed impatient medicine unit as my first.

Still hoping for an ED invite 🥲🤞🏼

Hey all, does anyone know how many were hired last cohort? Wondering where others heard the number 30 hires from if they wouldn't mind sharing! Thank you! 🙂

yeah my friends got hired in the last cohort and they told me that only 30 were hired

Hey quick question: of those who received invites, do you guys have ADNs or BSNs and above? Just wondering if they'll look me over based off education. Thanks!

I have an ADN (just graduated) and my BSN bridge program is online in progress (I started it last Summer).

I have my ADN and BSN almost complete because I was part of a dual enrollment program.

Anyone with MSN got an interview?
