hi colleagues, does anyone here tried applying as a nurse trainee at St. Vincent hospital in Marikina city? please share with us your experience and as well as the requirements and process that we should undergo when applying.. thanks in advance!

go ahead and try applying there. just for the sake of getting experience

tron22 and others can you pm me po pls the full name of your chief nurse(st. vincent general hospital marikina) thank you :D

I have to say alot has improved in the hospital since an HR was hired. A computerized system has been already put up but still crappy though. hehe.. the only thing lacking is a ctscan and a good ol' elevator. hehe.. the chief nurse, also referred to as "misis" usually arrives in the afternoon. she'll do the final interview. just do good in the exams and during the initial interviews with the supervisors, always carry a SMILE relax .. stay confident . what i miss in this hospital are the staff, we are all accomodating. from the pharmacy, RT's, MT's, ROD's, staff nurses, up to the orderlies...:) and the nursing experience here is worth it,:)

I will claim my prc license by 3rd week of the month, though my ivt license will be released about 2mos from now. I have no problems with other requirements though, but will that be ok, if I pass all of my other requirements except that my ivt license will be to follow?

Just passed the 2nd interview.. and for medical exam this coming friday :D the HRD told us that we will be starting on the 3rd or 4th week of november :)

did they say you will start as a staff nurse or training? because in some hospitals they require medical as well but they're for training only not staff nurse. meaning training with no pay.

they said it was for staffing, but of course you have to undergo their 2-month training... i guess it's up to your performance then.. :p
