St Philip's College LVN Spring 2015 Applicants!

Hey guys! Turned in my application in the middle of October and am impatiently waiting for the end of the month when we find out if we made it. :)

Does anyone off the top of their head know the hours for the daytime program? I'm blanking and can't remember. Also, does anyone know how competitive the program is or what GPA they're accepting right now?

I think they're opened until 5 today so I was planning on calling at like 4:45.

Another thing, make sure you check your spam folder. When I got accepted to the Radiography program at St. Philips, they sent a mass email to those who were accepted & my yahoo email thought it was spam because there were so many recipients. I kept calling & they said they've sent the emails already & I was sad thinking I didn't get in. Luckily the receptionist was nice enough to check their list & she said my name was on there. I checked my spam & I saw the acceptance message & I was so relieved.

Thanks for the info but We were supposed to put our aces email and it doesn't have a spam folder ?

That's funny mine does but it's empty anyways. That's one thing I didn't understand why they used our personal email & not our school email. I'm sure there's some people who might still have that acceptance letter in their spam folder 2 years later & not even know they got in lol

So I just called the nursing department and they said we should know today by 5 ??

I just sent my confirmation email but I won't breathe that sigh of relief yet. I'm a little nervous about some old traffic tickets that I haven't paid. I know they say Class C misdemeanors are omitted but it's still nerve-wracking. So I won't be celebrating until after the background check is clear :(
