St. Paul's School of Nursing - Spring 2015

Published

Hey everyone, I'm new to the site.

I've recently taken the HESI at SPSON, I got an overall 91%. I'm planning to go to the evening classes if I get accepted. The next step is the interview with the President of the school? Anyone else applying to SPSON?

I'm sorry if you answered this but what would you say is the biggest concern/frustration as a student there ?

I'm heading to the school now to drop off my health forms. does anyone have any question they need to be answered? I will be more than happy to ask for you :)

Can you please ask what form of payment do they take for the $500 tuition deposit. Cash, credit, debit, check, money order? Thank you!

They took from me by CC

By the way, and I should know the answer to this question, does anyone on here know what is included in the tuition? For the price that were paying I think they should include everything, but I'm sure they don't. Anyone know what's included? Books? Uniforms? Equipment and supplies?

It's supposed to include all that...you have the option to include the supplies, books, uniform et cetra..to be paid by fafsa or not.

Anybody get a call today?

Your books and uniform are not included in your tuition. If you get money left over from your award through fafsa then the school may cut u a book voucher from it if you wish. If that isn't the case, you pay for your books and uniform

So I just came back from school. They totally changed the schedule. The new class will be forced to take summer classes to ease the load. In a sense I'm not happy about it, but at the same time, I think it gives us a better handle on our classes and the material. I think we are less likely to fail a class or an exam if we have a lighter load. I'll do whatever I have to do to become an RN so I'll just take these lemons and make some lemonade. I'll be sure to give myself a big, all out vacation somewhere sunny and warm as soon as I graduate. I hope to see some of you soon, and possibly become friends for these next two years.

How long is the summer schedule ? What about Fall and Spring ?

My guidance counselor said she doesn't have the exact dates as of yet, but that it's going to be pretty much a regular semester, about 3 months long. We'll have to say goodbye to a nice long summer vacation for the next 2 years. We'll only have 1-2 week break between each semester. And the Spring and Fall semester will also be the same, 3 months long. Just a lighter load for each semester, about 13-14 credits instead of 18.

I guess it's better than struggling through 18 credits in the fall and spring. Still waiting though
