has anyone received a letter of acceptance to st.pauls school of nursing for spring 2014? or any phone calls from them? this is for queens location or has anyone applied and is waiting to hear?
I must say I was very lucky all I'm taking are the nursing classes. All my pre-req were accepted and is because I made it within the 5 yrs mark. I heard it will be tough but going to give it my all. Good luck everyone!![/quote']
Very lucky , I'm taking day classes, I'm still appealing my two (English and sociology ) all my sciences are accepted .
I choose the Jan 7th orientation because of work but I'm trying to get off on the 4th and ask if I can attend the orientation for that day. Has anyone began looking at stethoscopes? I know it's on the list of supplies we need and after researching on allnurses I see the cardiology III is popular and has received a lot great reviews.
where did you get the supply list i didnt i know we do need a stethoscope but wonder what else we need besides uniforms i also was told i need to order the scrubs before orientation by the registrar lady but she didnt tell how i have to call Monday i have whited pants also i have 4 pairs i just need to buy a whole bunch of white undies lol because you can see through the pants i have a litmann light weight stethoscope i use for work and it works great honestly i know that allheart.com has them on sale right now you can order them check out the website
Manuela924 do not wear white undies underneath ur scrubs! Wear a solid dark color or something close to your skin tone. I see that mistake too often in the hospital. You can see everything when u wear white-on-white. If no one told u before then maybe it's because they enjoyed the show hahaha :)
PrettyPlease88 haha your funny no i dont wear white pants scrubs at my job i wear purple so its never an issue really dark undies they will be able to see the color maybe i guess ill cream ones i dont know lol now i will have to test it thanks for the info
i was thinking of trying the train for one week and then maybe drive for a week i just dont want to put all those miles on my car its a lease first off plus like you stated no parking around school unless you pay one of those garages i want to find out what train and subway i will have to take i guess ill drive when we have clinical tho
