St. Paul's School of Nursing ( Queens ) Urgent!

Published

Hello everyone,

Wishing all of you love and light. I decided to create this post in hopes for some guidance, pertaining to this school.

I am aware that the school is not accredited. Have any of you whom attended St, Paul's found this to be a reason of concern? How many of you were able to graduate and find Jobs as Rn's and continue on to BSN programs? I'm hearing so many negative reviews. I just want some assistance. The school can't be that bad can it?

Please let me know as my time is short and I would like to make a decision soon.

I truly hope we all become successful. May all of our hard work truly pay off one day.

If you don't believe all the reviews you've already read, why bother asking for more?

Not here to go back and forth with anyone regarding my post . Either shed light or don't at all

There are people who have graduated from the school otherwise why would it still exist . I just would like to speak to someone who has had a positive experience. That's all.

50 G to be able to sit/practice in 4 states? That's enough to make me gasp. I guess if you are so driven and see/have no other roads and are open to limitations it gives, well, why not?

Sure it can. Any reason why you don't believe negative reviews that are present in such great numbers?

Hi im also interested in applying to the school for nursing in January 2019. I've also heard alot of issues regarding their lack of accreditation and high tuition. Anyone who attended the school can speak about their experience? Was going back to school for BSN ever a issue?

PL let me know if you hear additional information! Thanks

Hey there. I'm new to the site, but have been doing a bit of research on spson because I want to go for the spring semester, if it's possible. It seems like they also have semesters available in May from other threads I've read on here.

If you use the search function and type in the school name, you'll find threads about people who went on to pursue their BSN. Some online at Chamberlain and some at Hunter.

I also kinda stalk their Facebook and when I use IG, I search for the hashtag spson, or Saint Pauls school of nursing, different variants to find other people who have graduated from the school. Many of them have BSN attached to their names, so it looks like trying to obtain higher education isn't a huge issue after graduating. There just may be certain stipulations.

Did you end up applying for Jan 2019?

Hey sorry for the delayed message , I didn't end up applying to spson. I'm looking into absn as well. St Paul would honestly be a last option thing for me . Did you apply ? Good luck to you

@fred0405 I didn't know the school wasn't accredited, this is the first time I'm hearing about it but years ago I applied to the school and took their test and passed but didn't move forward due to their high intuition for an ASN. If they're not accredited then don't do it. Best of luck!

How do you know that a person that graduates from there can only practice in 4 states?
