  1. They have 3 starting dates . Also I believe classes are all online now I can't remember but all that information is on the gwu website.
  2. Yes they do accept online prerequisites. I was accepted but rejected the offer after due to the tuition and also because I'd have to move ..I would have been in debt at least $100k. Join the gwu ABSN page on facebook, a lot of info is shared on that page .
  3. Hi everyone, I was recently accepted however not entirely sure if I'd go due to the cost of the program ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️. Can anyone please let me know how did they manage their loans as well as if they were able to find job relatively soon after the program? According to several Google searches, it said BSN nurses make about $26-$28 an hour in Virginia/DC ???? Can someone confirm if this true. I make a lot more than that at my current job. Bsns in other states make close to $100k. Someone please confirm, I'd hate to take out a $100k loan and then end up with a low salaried job . Many thanks and I hope everyone is doing well!
  4. Hey I was emailed as well regarding an interview- any pointers?
  5. Hey I was recently accepted, would you mind if I ask you a couple of questions regarding the program? Congratulations on graduating
  6. Hey I just got accepted and will be moving from nyc as well. Would you please tell me more about the quality of education before I make a decision. Thanks !
  7. I was accepted to the program just not the Washington squared program. How do you feel about it ?
  8. I was just accepted today! Will anyone be moving from NYC ? What about financial aid ? Will anyone be working during the program? I honestly didn't think I'd get in. Is there a page on facebook yet so that we can all chat before the program begins? I still am waiting for a few programs but gwu was one of my top 3. I'm nervous and excited simultaneously ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️
  9. I took ethics during undergraduate which was a couple of many years ago- there are other places you can take ethics besides portage, with straighterline not all schools accept those classes so be careful with that. Online places like Cayuga community college, Nassau community college, new Mexico junior college etc . There are so many I just can't remember them all
  10. I think I know who your professor might be..a couple of my friends have taken micro and they mentioned a particular professor that makes it extra difficult to not do well ...the one I had was great, none of that extra complicated stuff.
  11. I took micro in November and aced it. I thoroughly enjoyed the class. It was an easy A, however I think it's somewhat due to the professor I had . She wouldn't nit pick on every single answer and her questions were straight forward which made the answers very easy for you to remember. Two of my friends also took micro at the same time with a different Professor and her questions were deliberately very tricky to confuse students.
  12. I remember reading somewhere on Reddit or this forum that pathophysiology would be okay to take online but pharmacology would be suggested to take in class because a lot of it relates to nursing itself . I just can't remember exactly where I've read this . Good luck!
  13. Hey I applied as well waiting for a response, what were your stats if you don't mind me asking . And congratulations!!
  14. Microbiology was incredibly easy and interesting!
  15. Bonstemps- question, I read somewhere on a thread that you were having difficulty finding a chem course . I'm in the same situation. Did you end up taking chem at nyu or where ? Please let me know . Thanks
