  1. Thanks for the info! I thought the daily class hours would be more than four hours, so that's good to hear. Your schedule sounds pretty ideal to me. Hopefully I get something similar. As far as the Admitted Students Uniform guidelines.. For the Khaki scrub bottoms and navy blue scrub set, is there a certain style or brand they want us to get or does it not matter? Also, what are the guys wearing for their 'white nursing shoes'?
  2. I think we'd all like some insight of the program from a current student! Thank you for offering this to us! What is the schedule like? What can we expect during the first semester? Are the ABSN and VBSN programs integrated?
  3. The deadline for applications just ended on 9/1. I'd assume over the next few weeks the rest of the letters will be sent out.
  4. Thanks for responding to that! I just RSVP'd for 11/16. Looking forward to it!
  5. Did you guys receive the Admitted Student Days email? If so, what day are you planning on going?
  6. That's a good question. I would call the admissions office.
  7. Unfortunately, I am not. My girlfriend and our two dogs will be moving to Ashburn with me. We are planning on getting an apartment in the Acadia by Cortland complex right outside of campus. I want to have the shortest commute possible. I hear traffic can be a nightmare in this area. Hopefully some others from the program move there as well!
  8. That's awesome! I've lived in San Diego for the past 7 years, but I'm originally from upstate New York. I want to live as close to the complex as well. I received my acceptance letter back in May, so fingers crossed for you! Keep us posted!!
  9. Yeah, that will be quite the commute! Hopefully it's not too bad. I have a few friends that are from Northern Virginia and they said traffic can be really bad in the Ashburn area. I'm coming from San Diego where traffic is horrible, so I don't think it can get much worse than what I'm used to.
  10. I will be getting an apartment right near campus as well! I want the shortest commute possible. I'm looking to get a place in the Loudon Heights Apartments, which is right in University Center. I believe this is the closest complex to campus. There is also Acadia by Cortland apartments at the north end of campus which is also super close.
  11. Yeah, it is not fun waiting! I applied at the end of the Summer 2018 application period and they filled all of the spots. However, they asked me if I wanted to start in Spring of 2019 and I accepted the offer. I will be moving to Ashburn in December! Hopefully you get in! Keep me posted!
  12. Has anyone applied for the George Washington University Accelerated/Veteran's BSN program for the Spring of 2019?
