I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

Is that true that PGNT batch 5 will start on November? I passed my application First week of October and until now they haven't call me. On the day I passed my application, I saw my friend who just took his exam that day. Actually he just passed his application the day before and then the HR call him afterward for his exam the next day. He told me, he passed the exam and on the interview phase the HR told him that he will not be included in PGNT, whereof he will be assigned in another area which is like an ancillary staff like in Eye center, etc. (no medical exposure). He declined the offer. So, with that Should I re-apply again because I'm thinking that they already have the complete batch for the next PGNT this Nov.,

P.S my friend was from mapua and he have a 80+ rating and no clinical exp.

Your friend should have accepted the offer. Ancillary department is also considered a good working experience especially if he will be assigned in Dialysis, Cathlab, etc. Maybe he really likes the PGNT program. They will offer other departments such as Ancillary because that department is currently hiring. You can try to re-submit your papers. You'll never know if they are already complete because some of my friends from batch 3 were contacted a DAY before PGNT 3 started. :)

Is he a 2012 graduate? Did he pass his resume directly to the HR? I just logged in to their log book. No feedback, though.

Ancillary dept is also a good option if they no longer have slots for PGNT. Some of my batch mates (batch 4) ,were given an option to choose between Ancillary and PGNT. From what I heard, the training and hiring process in the Ancillary dept is much faster and less tedious compared to PGNT. Like what Kayern said , even though you will not be assigned in the wards, you will still get a good experience in Dialysis, Cath lab, etc.

Is there really a need for an applicant to have a board rating of 80% and above so that he/she can be accpeted at SLMC-Global? thank you!

hi guys I passed and now Im included in PGNT5...I owe u guys and tnx! anyway whats the background of the pics that they want us to submit? and is it ok that i dont have yet my certificate...

Hi everyone. I am an applicant for the pgnt batch 5 in slmc-gc. Im already done with the iq test, initial interview, initial payment and submission of requirements (eg. Tor, diploma, pictures etc). Its been a week after my submission of reqs and i havent heard from the hr since then. Should i start to worry? Do we have tentative dates for the orientation? another thing. At around 3pm today i.received a text from the hr of slmc-qc inviting me for the orientation of their pgnts. I did apply there too but i havent taken their exams etc yet. Is their hiring process different from the hr in gc? Could it be possible that the hr of gc will conduct their orientation in qc? Just curious. Replies wud be very much appreciated cheers nurses

Hi, I would like to ask when did you take the exam?

I also passed the IQ exam, but I took it last September 3, 2012. Back then, there was no specific date yet for PGNT Batch 5.

After passing the IQ exam, the hr told me the same day that I would be invited for the HR interview anytime on the 3rd / 4th week of October because Batch 5 would be around November.

But still I haven't got any invitations from them until now.

That's good to hear. :) Congrats! Did you submit your resume again? ..Background for the pic is white. At least in our case. I'm not sure if they changed it for your batch. Are you referring asking about the board certificate?

Well that's interesting. I think its OK to call the HR of GC to ask/clarify about that mater. I really don't have an idea about the process in QC. However in my batch and the previous batches, I believe the orientation was conducted in GC.

I also had screening and i passed last August, same instructions and info.. but still no feedback from HR yet.

Thank you so much in decided! Yes I'm referring about the board certificate. I think it's about a year before u can get the cert....
