St. Joseph's College: Maine

Published

Hi: Just wondering if anyone is enrolled or has graduated from St. Josephs in Standish, ME (distance learning program)? I am looking into their dual degree of MSN/MHCA(Masters in healthcare administration). It looks great but I'd like to hear from anyone who knows about the school. Thanks for your help.

Im excited to be starting my first BSN class at the end of the month...Prof. Transitions. Sounds a bit boring. Anyone taken that class? Good to hear that there are 5 units. Is this true of all classes at St Joe's? It seems very doable!:nurse:

Nice to hear everyone is pleased with the program. Good luck to all with your studies.

Well just so u know I passed unit three. Things with st. joseph are still going good.:yeah: I did read some where that the next class NU503 is a lot harder so a little concerned about that but I think I can handle it.

hey boonce1 thank you for keeping us up to date on your progress for the fnp program i just applied to it and i'm waiting on my acceptance letter. i plan on starting to take a class possibly this fall but most definately in the spring. Are you working a full time job and taking full time classes? What classes are you currently enrolled in and do you find that you have adequate time to prepare for the quizes and tests? How are the faculty support? You said you plan on finishing in 2 yrs what's your plan on completing the course load?

Has anyone heard what the pass rate is on the FNP boards for students graduating from St. Josephs? I graduate from the RN to BSN bridge program in December. I am looking at schools for the FNP program, St. Joseph's sounds like a good option but I'd really like to know how well their program prepares people for the board.

The program just started last February, so they haven't graduated a class yet. Their program has some very positive attributes, but I've decided to pass on it.
