Does anyone have any information on this facility? I understand that it is brand new. My recruiter told me it was a long term care facility, but there is very limited information on the internet. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Could you call or write the facility and ask them to send you a brochure?

St Elias is a Long Term Acute Care Hospital in mid-town Anchorage. It was opened just a few months ago, and is building census right now. It's a beautiful facility! I just hired on as a PRN Speech Path there.

I was wondering the same thing. I received a recruiting postcard from them, but it didn't say much about the facility.

in case anybody else is interested in st Elias - they are an ICU/CCU long term care facility. currently they hire nurses with 5+ years of ICU and 2+ years of med/surg experience. Not interested in new grads at this point. Will have a new grad program next year, possibly.
