Good Luck! I recently accepted an ER position as a new grad. The HR part of the interview was tough--all those annoying HR questions--but the meeting with the nurse manager of the unit was much more laid back. Just be prepared with questions! I was so nervous I forgot to ask about starting salary, so I had to email the recruiter later and ask. oops.
Let us know how it goes!
Thank you so much everyone. Well the interview was a typical HR one (as pennylane said), lots of "whats your biggest strengh/weakness" type questions. I thought it went OK, I didn't mess up anything, but just didn't get a great feeling from it! She said that they would call me in mid-dec. for a 2nd interview....soo just waiting! I have a few more interviews in dec., so at least I'll be prepared for those! Again, thank you everyone, happy thanksgiving!!!!!!

I....am....sooooo....nervous. Tomorrow (today I guess) is my first interview for a nursing postion in an ED. I have already met with the NM but this is the "real" interview with HR. It is right after my clinical at the same hospital so its a long day! Of course, I can't sleep tonight :imbar and I've written out a list of questions/answers so hopefully I'll sound half-way intelligent. Last week the NM gave me a tour, and I thought, "holy s###, I'm interviewing to be a nurse......not a tech, a nurse!" So scary.
Wish me luck!!!
