1st DUI offense..

On October 31st 2007 I was convicted of driving under the influence. This is the only thing i have ever been in trouble for in my life. I have a 3.5 GPA and have worked with several volunteer agencies and have shadowed. My question is, is a DUI a good enough reason for a nursing school to automatically not pick me. I feel it was long enough ago that it shouldn't matter, however i am still concerned.

These are just not questions we can answer. However, the decision does rest with your state board of nursing. It may not be an issue for the school, but the endpoint of being a nurse will rest with your state board of nursing.
