Were you sent an email stating that you list have ACLS and NHS stroke scale certifications complete BEFORE the start date? I recieved one, and that seems so strange to me. I feel like there is usually a new hire grace period for that, and it's provided by the company.

I haven’t received any emails except for my offer letter. Who was it from?

I accepted a ED position at south austin. I have not received a email about ACLS yet. Let me know what they say, I feel like that's something the hospitals usually provide.

I did call them, and they told me to reach out to the director to find out. I tried calling my manager, but I had to leave a voicemail. No answers yet. I'll keep everyone updated.

@cdelao9 and @MackenzieRae,
My manager got back to me just now. She said that those requirements aren't due until 6 months in, and they are scheduled for us. She said she's going to follow up with HR about the email, but not to worry about it. Hope this helps, but maybe ask your respective managers as well.
So I received the on boarding email. From what I understand we can’t buy the own brand of scrubs that we want (figs) ?

yeah. I got 3 pairs of figs for christmas and I called HR to clarify that and they said we have to wear the approved brands. She said a lot of people have asked since it is such a popular brand but they haven’t gotten the approval for them.

Hi! I applied to NICU, L&D, pp, and mother/baby positions at all 3 of the St David's Austin locations that were available for the 2021 residency. I'm super excited! I am wondering what the process was like for y'all in terms of timeline. Someone reached out to me over the phone before the week they lost power so I kind of gave them a break for a bit, esp cause I was concerned when the recruiter said I would only have 3 days to decide on an offer. please let me know if you have any advice/insight on the process, I would so appreciate! Hope everyone is loving their job ?
