1st A&P test question

Published

I took my first A&P test today, got an A YAY! My test was over Chapters 1 & 2 but I'm a bit confused. The test had NOTHING from Chapter 2 in it which was all about Chemistry. Is this normal...to study both chapters but only have the test based on one?

No a lot of teachers don't harp to much on chapter 2 because it is chemistry, they assume that most people have had high school chemistry (at least for most classes in my area it is a pre req). Plus chem isn't as vital in your understanding as Biology is which is usually what is in the first chapter. In future exams all ways study all the chapters you have gone over. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your feedback. I did study the Chemistry as well, which is why I was a little shocked that there wasn't even at least 1 question pertaining to it.

I hope that happens to me. My high school chemistry class was 3 years ago.

Oh I so hope that is the case for me! LOL I hate chemistry, it is just utterly boring to me. We have our test over chapters 1&2 the week after labor day but we just finished reading it. I still plan to study it hard but I wouldn't shed a tear if chemistry was left off the test! LOL

I guess it depends on your instructor. We had a LOT of cell biology & chem questions on our first exam this summer. You can never go wrong by being prepared! Plus, the chem will come back into play when you start on Physiology.

Good luck with the rest of your semester :D
