Hi all!
Is anyone out there in the process of applying to virginia commonwealth? I'm applying for the Accelerated BSN program that begins may 2011. What other bsn programs are near Richmond?
thanks,chantal
I called admissions on Friday just to see if by chance they had sent out letters already (which they haven't). They said letters will go out the first or second week of February, but they couldn't give me an exact date. Hopefully they will go out sooner rather than later -- I'm just ready for the wait to be over. Good luck to all.

I'm hoping the best for you.
The staff at the SON is amazing and so helpful. They have a brunch at the Jefferson Hotel for the students who receive scholarships (my daughter being one of them) and I actually sat at the same table with the Dean of Nursing. She's amazing and so down to earth. They really treat their students wonderfully.
Thanks for sharing, keep the faith!
ugh they haven't even mailed the letters yet? darn it! however, looking at the past 2 years, people were finding out NOW. So maybe they just told you they hadn't sent them because they didn't want you asking status? (here's what I'm hoping for, because I cannot handle waiting for 2 more weeks... my stomach is in knots!)
Thank you so much! Duke was initially my first choice - I didn't get an interview, but I probably wouldn't have been able to afford it anyways. I couldn't be more happy about VCU though. I have a 3.66 GPA. I have been volunteering in pediatrics for about 6 months. But that's the extent of my "medical experience."
I'm really pulling for you!!!
