Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

SerenePeach, what were your stats? Like GPA, test scores, etc. Oh and congratulations!:D

Thank you! I had a 4.0 GPA in all my nursing pre-reqs. I scored 95% overall on my HESI and 880 on Critical Thinking. My undergrad GPA was 3.8 from my first degree, though I did have 2 F's on my transcript that made me worry since I had to explain it in the interview. I also had about 3 months of volunteer service at Ben Taub Hospital.

My status is the same, but I do have more holds too.

for those of you who have been accepted already, when was your interview. I am checking my utlink, and it still says pending, but I think I might have more holds but i'm not sure.

Where does it say"You have been granted provisional acceptance?" Is it under admissions? Does anyone elses still say there file is incomplete?? UGH FRUSTRATING!!!

Mine doesn't even say pending! Are you guys looking under the admissions tab or where? Earlier mine had an extra residency tab...but now it's not there and I have no extra holds. :uhoh3:

i looked in your post history to make sure you had an interview. before i asked.

but does it say anything isnt recieved?

I have some added holds, but no status change. I guess I won't be productive for the next few days until I find out!!

My interview was Sept 24th.
