Spring 2011 Sem. State and UCF-SSC Concurrent Program

anyone else here looking to get into either seminole state's spring 2011 program or the concurrent as-bsn ucf-ssc concurrent program for spring 2011? i will be applying soon myself, and would like to see if there are other such applicants on here. maybe we can help each other! :nurse:

I got my acceptance letter from Daytona State College Saturday which is only 5 weeks after deadline although they said they would be send letters out in 6-8 weeks. This is my back up so I am happy. Seminole State said 4-6 weeks and we are on week number 5 so perhaps we will hear something this week?

Congrats on Daytona State!!! They will be my back up next semester if Seminole doesn't take me. Good luck with getting that letter from Seminole! Hopefully you will have a choice to make b/t the two schools?????

Daytona is supposed to be a pretty good school as well so I am happy. I think May is the next application period. Let's just hope we both get in at Seminole though... :uhoh3:

All SSC/UCF hopefuls... Do you guys have an "Active in Program" showing on your unofficial transcript?

I think that has to do with what degree you are seeking...like choosing your major. I could be wrong though.

Yea it just mean you are active in a major like registered nursing...look at the date next to it which is the date u decided to pursue the major..like mine says 08-2008

As a follow up to the message I posted about the 2 people from SSC/UCF that got regret letters 2 weeks ago, I found out they were in category 2.

You are welcome. I want to share anything and everything I find out. :)

I got one as soon as my application was rec'd, then another about 3 weeks after that basically with the same info., but also saying please be patient, we are working on going through all the apps now. Is that what you are getting also?

Yes, I got those two but I also got one yesterday specifically reminding me that they need my immunization form so that the hold can be removed in order to register..

Wow! Well I haven't officially been accepted to UCF yet, as I am finishing the last five classes for my AA this semester, so maybe that's why I haven't gotten that email yet. My decision has been deferred until UCF gets my Final Official transcript from SSC in December showing that my AA has been posted.

Maybe that is a good sign for you though. I hope these letters get here soon. I'm starting to have dreams about it now. Good Luck to you! :D:confused:

I emailed the SCC Nursing dept: they said the letters were to go out this week!
