Hey there!
I just submitted my application to pbsc for their 2016 spring cycle! Anyone else out there who plans to apply? The waiting game begins! Lol 😉😅🙈✌ðŸ½ï¸
How many times have you guys applied already?
This is mmy first time applying...i thought about applying a few years back but 'chickened out'...Like imthebri said its competitive...sometimes you will have to apply more than once and sometimes you wont have too..it depends on the points you have and the points of everyone applying...as far as the points more info can be found at palmbeachstate.edu/program/nursing
Points cutoff was 23.40 and I had 23.37 points so I just missed it. I have 1 more point this time around so I am hoping that helps a bit
I thought you missed it by 1 pt not 0.03...thats patience and perseverance...I know they say they look at HESI as a tie breaker if two students points are the same
That's probably what got me. I have a 90.86 on the HESI. 0.14 point away from the next point possible for the HESI! Argh. Lol. I am hoping this is the last time I have to apply
I most certainly think you will....but I know that feeling of uncertainty all too well...feeling like you have a good chance and will be accepted to feeling like you will not be accepted...who would have imagined they would add an additional point for vets that's a blessing...

i was so thankful for that!
Do you guys think i could get accepted in pbsc with a 3.6 gpa in the prereqs? I am interested in the transition program LPN-RN. I plan on attending the info session in november, because I do not fully understand the point system and there doesn't seem to be much info on their website. Also, did acceptance letters get sent out yet?
I honestly feel that is kind of stupid because I have a better shane of getting in with a bachelors degree.Yes we did get acceptance letters. PBSC uses cumulative GPA not only prerequisite GPA. You get points for each class you take. The more points you get, the better chance you get at getting accepted

Palm Beach State is a lot closer to me and seems to be a little bit better of a program
