   I think the generic might be a better option because the accelerated is online. You don't have easy access to an instructor to clarify things with, not only that but you're pretty much on your own. Often times online classes are often not well direct...

   How long have you been waiting to get in and are you going to work while you are in the program? I don't think it would make sense for them to make you take the class and then not accept you.
