I live in Southern GA. So I have southern GA and Northern FL to work with. I have pretty much all the prereq as a few years ago I was in an RN program. So I am looking to find a program that has no date limit of when took classes.

I keep seeing a lot about WGU, and I went online, but I'm still a bit confused. Is the program entirely online at my own pace? Also, if it's accredited, shouldn't all boards accept it?

Does anyone know of a pretty good but not so pricey LPN to RN program that is online but would consider on campus as well. I am tired of looking into programs, having to put contact information to receive information and then being bombarded with phone calls.
  4. Bummer. I would think if you are officially certified through a program it should transfer. The question was addressed with how long they are good and the instructor stated well board just states IV certified. Where you work might want every 2 years. The program I found was 1 day and because I had been doing IV and venipuncture it was more like a review and easy to get through.
  5. Search after search, I finally found it with Nurse Refresher Kane educational. I had to commute to St. Augustine, but it was a 1 day class instead of two days which is what I was seeing and then you complete a test at home. The hands on was good. Would recommend.
  6. Does anyone know where I can get my IV certification in Northern FL? Thanks.
  7. I was in an RN program and unfortunately was not able to complete it. I was able to get my LPN license based on what I completed. I see employers want LPN's to get IV certified. Does the IV training I did in RN school qualify me as IV certified? I still have my check off sheet with endorsed signature showing I completed it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
