As long as we all get in and pass the nclex that's all that matters. It's not how you start but how you finish.

Hello everyone,

this might be a silly question, but for the RN-BSN program that miami dade offers do we need to get our RN license?

and if so, how did you guys prepare to take the NCLEX with just an associates?

besides the NCLEX, do we still have to take the HESI?

I will be finishing my AS, but im not as confident to take the NCLEX right away.

please give me any info you guys might have.

Hey from my understanding you have to get your RN before your pursue your BSN... Also, were applying and claiming that we will get in the Nursing program for spring 2018... if you have an RN my friend used UWorld to study the NCLEX and passed

Yes you have to have RN which means you have to pass the NCLEX. You are NOT an RN until you pass. Some schools have a HESI exit test, I am not sure for MDC. Ask someone in advisement about that so you have the correct information. I read on this site that UWorld is a good NCLEX Prep.
