My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

I don't think it matters at all I've had an elsevier account since May 2016 when I took the HESI for bcc so I probably activated email notifications back then. This is the link provided in the email. Use your login info that you made to take the HESI and see what happens

I took the HESI exam this week! Although I'm not pleased with my score, I still applied for the Spring 2018 session. I'm hoping that with my GPA and medical background that I get in. This waiting will be he death of me.

Could you imagine if they did something along the lines of: CONGRATULATIONS! You've received a letter informing you that you have NOT been selected. I'd cry. LOL. ( I don't you mean you specifically, I'm sure you're in.)

I really feel like they're going to extend the deadline again this year because like you said I don't think a lot of people have applied.

Another reason I don't want to take sociology right now is the cost. I've done a rough sketch of all the things we're gonna need to do after we get accepted and an estimate of how much it'll cost and it's not looking pretty, lol. But if they have a class available I'll probably end up taking it just to get it out of the way

I pray that they do not extend the deadline. The first time I took the HESI I was by myself and the second time there was maybe 10 people. The less people that apply, the better the chances are for all of us. Right now I'm taking the microbiology lab and sociology to get it out of the way for the BSN program plus it will take my mind off the waiting game for the acceptance letters. I prefer to get into the accelerated program but if I get into full time I will be more than happy as well.

@futurebsn92: According to an advisor, there are usually less applicants for the transitional and AO in comparison to the generic program. Thus, she said the deadline could have been extended to allow more time for applicants from these pools (transitional & AO) to apply. So, your chances of being admitted into the AO are greater due to less competition. Another rumor that's been circulating on this forum is that there are generally less nursing applicants for the spring overall. I took the Hesi on Aug. 30th and the average was 73.2% so I think it's safe to say that I'll be seeing you for the AO in the spring.
