Spring 2017 MANE programs

Published

Hi all!! The application deadline for spring 2017 has passed! Let's talk composite scores and where you applied too. Or anything just to kill time while we all wait for July 15!!

I applied to only NHCC. My GPA is 3.21 and my teas is 80.7 giving me a total composite score of 11.28. I feel my score is a little low but I'm hopeful!!

I will be attending the 9/14 orientation at NHCC so come say hi! My name is Nou Her :) here's to a new journey!!!

Nou I live right in between both schools hehe :) . My question about schedules is because I have to coordinate schedules with my husband to drop the kids at the daycare. I am looking at both schools and it seems like Nhcc has classes 4 days a week while Century has 3 days . Part of me wants NHCC because I heard they have new labs but it is so hard to know how their schedule is going to be for next year with all the changes . If I decided on NHCC I will for sure go to the same orientation

I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got the letter today, NHCC here I come!!!!

Isadevon I think you should go talk to the advisor for both school and ask about scheduling. I think schedules change every semester.

I talked to Leah today at the NHCC and she told me that kind to follow the Fall 16 schedule for reference , but the Spring 17 schedule is not going to be up until September. Now I need to email Century

Has anyone heard from Normandale yet? I was already accepted last apply date for fall 2016 into the program, but I am curious if anyone has gotten a letter for this round (spring 2017) from Normandale.

Hi all!

I was accepted to Century, NHCC and IHCC. I am deciding between Century and NHCC. I'm unsure which one is best for me. They both are same distance from me but how do I decide which one is the best choice? I heard the NHCC is a better and more challenging school but that's just from looking on allnurses.com. Help!

Thanks in advance!

Becca

I am having the same problem I can't decide between NHCC and Century. I already work in a hospital and I have the nurses , they have told me that the outcome of both program is the same , so to chose which one is more convenient for me. They are also both at the same distance from my house , I want to make the decision by Friday . I am thinking that the schedule at Century seems better ( because I have small children at home). I wish there was an easier way to make the decision

Isadevon: I'd say choose the school closer to your work so that if you pick up a shift you won't have to drive far. or if you still can't decide, write the names of both school on a piece a paper and draw out of a hat. Lol.

Becca: I think NHCC is nice because they have the entire first floor of the new bioscience building dedicated to the nursing program. I have also heard great things about century too. So like I told Isadevon if you can't choose, pick out of a hat and go it. Lol

good luck to you both! And congrats to everyone who made it!

Becca: which school did you end up choosing?

The spring schedule is now posted

Where is it posted?
