It's about time to start applying to the spring 2015 MANE programs. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is applying. I thought it would be nice to have a place where we could come together and chat about our scores, the application process, and the anguish of waiting for our acceptance letters.
I'm planning on applying to Century and Inver Hills. I would prefer Century, just because it's right down the street from my house.
Anyone else applying for spring?
So I'm about to send in my letter of acceptance. I could've sworn that somewhere on there it said we needed to pay a $100 deposit, but now I can't find it. Am I correct? Can anyone remind me who we make it out to?
Yup a $100 deposit that goes toward your tuition apparently. I sent mine in last week and just made it out to the school. After we send that in, we're supposed to be waiting on an email with more information right?
I heard NHCC had a lot of people decline their acceptance offers last round, so the majority of the waitlist applicants were accepted. This round they accepted more students and the waitlist is much smaller. I am hoping I get in this round, NHCC has a great reputation and they have a new nursing building.

That's reassuring to know of their reputation. I'll be attending in the Spring! Good luck!
I was accepted into Normandale's program for spring 2015. I sent in my acceptance letter a week ago and I'm wondering if anyone has received a conformation letter. I'm a little paranoid my acceptance got lost in the mail or something lol. I might just call to confirm! Thanks :)
Congratulations on your acceptance!
Same here. In the beginning, I wanted to hand in my letter in person to Betty, but she was on vacation, so I just sent it through the mail.
I am absolutely delighted to know of a person whom I will spend two years with in the nursing program beforehand. See you on orientation day.
If you don't mind, could you give a description of yourself? You could also mention why you want to become a nurse You can also mention something about your expectations of the program.

Yes, you are correct. I'd call the school to check who you make it out to.
