It's about time to start applying to the spring 2015 MANE programs. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is applying. I thought it would be nice to have a place where we could come together and chat about our scores, the application process, and the anguish of waiting for our acceptance letters.
I'm planning on applying to Century and Inver Hills. I would prefer Century, just because it's right down the street from my house.
Anyone else applying for spring?
I got an email:
"Selection results letters for the Spring 2015 Century College MANE Nursing program were mailed on July 15, 2014. Unfortunately, we have just discovered you were sent an older version of our letter and the dates are incorrect.
A new, corrected copy is being sent to you today. Please watch for this new letter to arrive in the next couple of days."
Congrats everyone! I still need to pick an orientation date before much of anything else can go through.
I am new to this thread, and I have read all the previous comments. I received my letter from century yesterday, and was put on their waiting list. I knew my chances were slim to none there, with a composite score of 10.89. I am waiting for my letter from Inver Hills where my composite is a little higher, at 11.33. Congratulations to all of you who have been accepted. That's awesome. I made peace with the fact that I will likely not get in this go around, but now my hopes are up again, and I just don't know what to think. I might be right on the line. Hopefully I will find out later today.

I live with my girlfriend in Hutchinson because she was going for the NDT program here so Hutchinson is my first choice. However, if I get into Normandale, we could move into my parents house and save money on rent throughout school. The only thing is that I have a good CNA job out here that I love, and would hate to change jobs. Have you heard about any differences between schools?
