Spring 2019 Lone Star Hopefuls

Published

I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

Does anyone know when they will pre-register us for classes? Also, haven't heard anything about books. Has anyone got their clinical uniforms?

After you complete everything on your "to-do list" on castle branch, does this list of everything completed goes away? I'm looking now to see if my cpr card was approved and the only thing I see is my completion of my background

If the whole list minimizes and says "compliant" then I think you're good! :)

Based off the paper given at orientation, it says they'll register us for classes December 3-14 I believe?

Omg, I can't even find my orientation paper. Can you email me a copy of yours?

Yes ma'am! Thank you so much!

Do you guys have to order your scrubs from Suitestyles?

I haven't ordered mine yet. I'm trying to see where to get them from.

I'm starting the VN program at Tomball. We had to order from Suitestyles. It's a Medline company. I was just going to warn you guys to order with a credit card if possible if you were ordering scrubs from that company. Basically when you place your order they authorize the amount of your order, but they don't technically charge your card until your order is shipped. So it's like they charge you, take it back, then charge you again. But this is only if you use a debit card to order.

We don't have to show proof of insurance, right? On castle branch. We just have to do the "To Do" tab?
