I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

They let me know last year that something was wrong with mine and I believe someone in the thread above this said they had already been contacted about fixing something. I was nervous-I deleted and resubmitted documents a few times before hitting the final submit button. I check my email everyday to see if they said there was a mistake but even the silence gives me anxiety lol!
Forgive me if this sounds stupid but can you tell me how you deleted your previously uploaded documents to re-upload the "fixed" document? I received an email from the Nursing Program Director of CF (Jane Hagele) stating that they could not open my credit advising report. She said I would need to delete the incorrect document, upload the correct document, return to the Application Tab, and RESUBMIT the application at the bottom of the page. The problem is I do not see where I can delete the document. It only has the green box next to the document names that says uploaded. I emailed her back to ask for more guidance but no response yet. I'd appreciate any insight you provide.
I'm taking microbiology at Cypress center with eiler (highly recommend, took him for a&p I), psych 2314 lifespan and pharm at NH.
I'm taking microbiology at Cypress Center with Eiler too and Pharm at NH with Connie Noeller on Thursday mornings. I'm glad to hear Eiler is good. Noeller had great reviews on rate my professor so I'm looking forward to that class too.

I have Cinquemani on Wednesday's at NH. I think Eiler is only offering one Micro class this semester if I'm not mistaken so we are probably classmates! Lol

Eiler has definitely been a favorite of mine. He doesn't get the best reviews mainly because he is so "militant" and "retentive" haha but because of that you will know where you stand in class is an accurate representation of what you know/prepare yourself for. My a&p ii professor, while I got a pretty decent B (84) I would have probably only gotten an 80 with Eiler, which over the summer is not horrific (especially since I also work 40 hrs) but I feel like I learned a lot more from him. Not to say she wasn't a good professor. I just definitely felt that he gave you more quality, less BS, no freebies. You have to work for and retain what you know.
Most of my HESI questions came from anatomy 1. The 2 questions I missed were anatomy 2 questions lol
Thank you! I can't wait to be done. No, you do not get to take the LVN NCLEX. The reason why is because it is another program and as you will learn in Health Assessment, Skills, and Med Surg, the role of LVNs and RNs differ quite a bit. I know that you can sit for the CNA board exam after the first semester but you have to pay for it yourself. I believe it's $300 or $400, not sure.
I asked about this from the CF program and was told that you could sit for the LVN NCLEX AFTER you transferred into the program at NH that offers this. You have to finish the first year of ADN and then apply and then get accepted and then you take 1 semester of the filler in courses that you need to help you prepare for the NCLEX. You will still be in the ADN program, just one extra semester so that you could take the necessary classes needed for a LVN license.
I was trying to respond to the question about sitting for the LVN NCLEX while in the ADN program but I guess because I posted a link, it got randomly flagged for review, twice lol
The premise is you do your first year of ADN, apply to NH program Vocational Nursing ADN to VN Certificate Level II program (only campus that does it) and then from there they give you an extra semester of courses to help prepare you for the NCLEX PN. You would permanently be transferred to NH because you would no longer be "on track" to graduate with your peers with the added semester.
I've asked about this myself to CF and was told that's the only way other than going to straight LVN that I could sit for both licenses with them.
I won't try to post the link anymore but that's the name of the program. HTH.
