I just wanted to start a check-in thread for all those heading into their last semester of nursing school and will be finishing up in the Spring 2010 semester.

What type of clinical areas will you experience during your last semester?

Does your program have a preceptorship during the last semester? If so, in which area would you like to do your preceptorship?

I'm graduating in May from an Accelerated BSN program.

What type of clinical areas will you experience during your last semester?

This semester we have Community/public health, and Adult Med/surg 2.

Does your program have a preceptorship during the last semester? If so, in which area would you like to do your preceptorship?

We do have a preceptorship. I believe it's 225 hours over 6 weeks! I hope to get Peds, and if I'm lucky, maybe Peds ER. They have been really secretive about this whole preceptorship deal. I have no clue what's going on and it's driving me nuts!
