Spring 2018 Forsyth Tech ADN Program

Just wanted to post a topic for all of those applying this fall for the Spring 2018 nursing program at Forsyth Tech. There have been plenty of times I've had questions about what to do and I thought we could support each other. I'll start, how do nursing classes work? do you take one per semester or a few?

Thanks for sharing that info. I'd be pretty happy with that schedule.

I emailed a instructor for nursing program and she said orientation is the first day of class but we will do registration before class. She said the date will be on the letters.

I talked to someone in admissions today. She said letters definitely won't go out until mid October and she wasn't sure if they'd be updating techlink before. She told me to keep checking just in case they do because when it switches to ADN sit definitely means you got in.

Last year I think most people knew by the 6th or 7th so I'm still hoping for this week!! "Mid October" seems so far :(

I want to know now! This wait is killing me. I have already been accepted by GTCC and I know I will be starting nursing school no matter what but I really want to get accepted to Forsyth Tech and go there. The orientation for GTCC is October 16 and I hope to know about Forsyth before that do so if I do get in I don't have to take off work and waste 3 hours lol.

The wait is killing me too! I'm waiting to hear back from WSSU about their ABSN program but I won't hear from them until later in October. I'm hoping to hear from Forsyth tech this week or next week so I'll know for sure that I'm going somewhere!

I feel your pain ladies. I added it up based on forums last night and the longest wait was 21 days and the shortest was 8 days after the deadline. We're sitting at 12 days so hopefully soon!
