Does anybody know any agency that are willing to sponsors new nurses for green card? Has anybody gone through that? I came to the US to go to university. I graduated with my BSN over the summer and now I have my OPT through my school which allows me to work in the country for a year. It will expire in July and after that I’m on my own. So I’m hoping I could get an agency or even a hospital that is willing to do the sponsorship. I know the hospital is a long shot and probably won’t happen but I have to remain hopeful.

See if your employer is willing to sponsor you. Make sure you have job within I believe 3 months of OPT otherwise it becomes invalid

It’s hard to get a job with only a year on the OPT. So the employer option is not easy
Same goes for sponsorship as nursing not as short as it used to be. You could try contacting agencies like OGP but expect moving

I got my sponsorship from my current employer (a big hospital of the state btw). I did do all clinical rotations there during nursing school and know the Chief nursing officer of my hospital (through the Dean of my nursing school) though.
Moving is not an issue for me. Which hospital is that if you don’t mind me asking? I just want to secure my future.

I’m in New Hampshire; pretty sure my employment is the only academic med center here so it should be easy to pop up in a quick google search ?

Hi! Wondering if you’ve had any luck or updates in this issue. I graduate in May and would be requiring sponsorship as well.

Apply To ConneticsUSA. They have a facebook page. They sponsor F1 Nurses. Reach out to their recruiter for F1 nurses,

Hi! Do you know anyone that has personally worked with them?

Nope but i'm telling my friends to work with them. Nursing agencies aren't clear cut but they sound better than CONEXUS MEDSTAFF (the comapny i currently work for). Trust me you want a company that will give you high or resonable salary and also make the green card process easier for you. Try out connetics. Hopefully they prove themselves to be worthy. Their Lawyers seem sound!
What if you're out of status will they be able to help?
